How to choose trading bots & copy trading tools

Every tool in this category is a full crypto exchange with bots or copy trading built in. None of them is a standalone bot service. That means choosing one is mostly about choosing the exchange you're willing to keep funds on. Four things separate them:

  • Regulation and region. OKX says it holds a MiCA licence for EU users. The other listings don't mention a licence, so check what's available where you live.
  • API access. If you want to run your own scripts or connect outside bot software, OKX, Bitget, BitMart and Deepcoin list an API. MEXC doesn't list one here.
  • What you can trade. Bitget covers tokenized stocks, gold and forex alongside crypto. Deepcoin is focused on derivatives, with perpetuals and CFDs. MEXC and BitMart cover spot and futures.
  • Platforms. All five run on web, iOS and Android. Bitget also has macOS and Windows apps.
