Fees

Spot Trading

Standard trading fees on the spot market range from 0.1% to 0.6%, depending on the token class. You can find more detailed information [here]. That said, we believe this model isn't ideal, as the 0.1% fee is widely regarded as the industry standard among crypto exchanges—regardless of the token being traded. To stay competitive, BitMart should consider revising its fee structure. However, there are ways to reduce your fees:

• Get a 25% discount by paying trading fees with BMX, BitMart’s native token.

• Enjoy further fee reductions based on your 30-day trading volume and/or your asset holdings and/or the amount of BMX tokens in your balance. It's worth noting that BitMart applies an “and” condition up to LV6 and switches to an “or” condition starting from LV6. With all due respect, we believe applying the “or” rule across all levels would be fairer and more transparent—no need for unnecessary complexity.

Futures Trading

Futures trading on BitMart is much more straightforward. The fee structure is fixed at Maker – 0.02% / Taker – 0.06%, with no additional discounts.

Key Features

Trading

BitMart allows you to trade cryptocurrencies on the spot or futures market (USDC-M, COIN-M). You can also try demo trading on the futures market to test the BitMart interface or your trading strategies.

BitMart also offers copy trading, which is not very popular and is only available on futures, but it does exist. Unfortunately, there are no trading bots as such, but there is a Futures Grid.

BitMart offers staking, dual-currency investments, and capital management.

Staking

Both flexible and fixed rates are available. A flexible rate is convenient because you can withdraw your tokens at any time without losing the interest earned, while a fixed rate involves locking your tokens for a specific period. If you withdraw tokens early from a fixed-term staking plan, you will not receive the promised interest. Additionally, flexible rates have a variable interest rate, while fixed rates offer a fixed interest rate.

Dual-currency investments

Dual-currency investments are floating-income investment products with no guarantees, where settlements are made in one of two currencies. Depending on your desired liquidity and risk level, you can choose the asset, execution method, subscription amount, and settlement date when subscribing.

Capital management

BitMart offers a Capital management tool with a 14-day subscription period and an option for automatic renewal. Simply put, you entrust your tokens to trusted third parties for management, and after 14 days, you receive your tokens back (unless auto-renewal is enabled) along with the earned interest. There are two types:

• Fixed income: You are guaranteed to receive your tokens and the interest specified at the time of subscription.

• Enhanced income: You are guaranteed to receive your tokens back, and the earnings will be determined at the end of the period — they may be high or zero.

NFT

BitMart has a built-in NFT marketplace integrated into the exchange. This is really great, as most other crypto exchanges only offer interaction with NFTs through decentralized wallets.

For those who don’t know, an NFT is a non-fungible token — a digital asset that serves as proof of ownership or authenticity associated with specific content or items, ranging from art, music, and videos to in-game items and real-world assets.

API

With the API, you can interact with the BitMart exchange through your own systems or integrate it with other tools such as analytics platforms, trading bots, and more.
