How to use KuCoin

Step 1: Registration

To register, go to the KuCoin website: https://kucoin.com/

Registration is simple. You can register via email, mobile number, or through Google, Apple, Telegram. You will then receive a verification code via the registration method you chose, and after that, you will need to create a password. That’s it! You’re registered.

Step 2: Pass KYC

To start using the KuCoin crypto exchange, you need to go through KYC. You can do it immediately after registration or later in the “Identity Verification” section.

The procedure itself is not complicated and takes no more than a couple of minutes. We didn't notice any problems with verification, which is a big plus for KuCoin.

By the way, if you register via a computer, you will be prompted to download the KuCoin mobile app and complete the verification through it. This is because completing KYC on a smartphone is generally easier and faster.

However, if you prefer to verify through your computer, click “Continue in Browser.” Then, select your country of residence, choose the document you want to use for verification, enter its details, take a photo of the document and a selfie. It’s a standard KYC procedure — nothing complicated. Just make sure the photos are of good quality to increase your chances of passing verification on the first try.

Step 3: Fund your balance

In order to deposit, there is a “Deposit” button in the top right corner. You will first see the cryptocurrency deposit page.

• If you want to deposit cryptocurrency, choose the token and the network you’ll use. The system will then generate a deposit address. Depending on the network, a MEMO (or similar identifier) may also be generated. If a MEMO is provided along with the address, make sure to include it when sending your funds — failing to do so may result in the loss of your assets.

• If you don’t have any cryptocurrency and want to deposit fiat, click on “Deposit Fiat” or hover over the “Buy Crypto” menu in the upper left corner. You’ll be offered various fiat deposit options.

After making the deposit, you can view your transaction history at the bottom of the page.

Step 4: Cryptocurrency trading

Once you have registered, passed KYC verification, and funded your balance, you can start trading on the spot market or the futures market.
